Reimbursem*nt Program
Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 2929.37 & 2929.38, the Knox County Jail has established a reimbursem*nt program for convicted inmates. Any prisoner who has been convicted of an offense is required to pay all or part of the costs of confinement.

All sentenced inmates booked into and released from the Knox County Jail will be assessed an inmate processing fee (IPF) of $20.00 to assist in defraying the cost of intake processing and release. The fee will be deducted from your commissary account.
Video Visitation
Visitation hours are 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM , seven days a week with some block-out times.
There are two ways to visit an inmate at the Knox County Jail:

Setting up a visit is easy! Just follow these steps:
- Go to videovisitationanywhere.com.
- Click on Video Visitation or Onsite Visit.
- Set up an account with Securus.
- The Knox County Jail must then approve your visitor account.
- Once approved, you can schedule your visit online with a specific inmate.
- The inmate you schedule your visit with is the only inmate that you are permitted to visit at that time. Visiting a different inmate will result in your account being suspended.
- For Onsite Visits, you will need your terminal number and PIN number.
To be approved to visit an inmate, you will need a Positive Picture I.D. That can include:
- A Driver's License
- A State I.D.
- A Government I.D.
- A Passport
- Remember: Your I.D. picture must clearly identify you. A photo containing apparel that obscures your appearance, such as sunglasses, hats, etc. is not a Positive Picture I.D.
