The Great British Bake Offhas kicked off its 14th series, delighting fans and baking fanatics across the nation once more.
The launch show aired at 7pm on Tuesday, and, as per the trend set by previous series, episodes are expected to then air at 8pm every Tuesday onChannel 4.
With Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith reprising their roles as judges, the new series marks the arrival of vivacious new co-host Alison Hammond, alongside fellow hostNoel Fielding.
The contestants for the new series of The Great British Bake Off sees the show’s first ever deaf baker featured on the line-up, as well asa scientist, an accountant and a retired flight attendant introduced.

Although she has officially been crowned the best baker in Britain this year, fans of the show might be surprised to learn Syabira has only been working with cakes and pastries for five years after first trying her hand at baking in 2017.
Since her big win was announced, King's College London is paying homage to their star baker research associate - and announced last November its cafes and restaurants would be selling her red velvet sandwich cookies.
