What are visiting hours at Atlantic City hospital? ›

Visitor Information. To further aid in the healing process for our patients, Atlantic Health System medical centers offer patient-centered visitation - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Critical Care: Two (2) visitors are permitted from 7am to 11pm; Restricted visiting hours may be requested under the nurse's clinical discretion for the safety of the patient.

What are my hospital visitation rights? Since 2011, federal regulations requires any hospital accepting Medicare and Medicaid to allow patients to say who they want as visitors. And this includes the majority of hospitals. The patient's wishes must be respected regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or relationship.

Intensive Care Units

Visitors may visit at any time during visiting hours, but visits are limited to 10 minutes at a time, unless approved otherwise. Children under the age of 12 years may visit patients in the ICU at the request of the patient and if they are supervised by an adult.

Visitors must comply with the following and other safety measures to enter and remain in any AtlantiCare site: Visitors must check in at the information desks of the hospital or Emergency Department to obtain a visitor pass, and must wear this pass in a visible location throughout their stay.

While you recover, your partner can be with you at any time, or the entire time. In most of our hospitals, you, your baby, and your partner will stay in a room together — sleeping as a family while you're with us overnight.

Please only visit if you are well. Do not visit if you have any COVID, cold or flu like symptoms. This includes a runny nose, sore throat, cough, temperature, headache, loss of smell or taste.
