This freezes the cost that you will pay per credit for up to three years as long as you remain a full-time student.

Students currently enrolled will have their tuition automatically frozen at the $109 per credit rate for cohort starting fall 2022, $115 for cohort starting fall 2023, and $120 for cohort starting fall 2024, and up to two additional years for each cohort.
The Oregon Guarantee provides each UO student a fixed tuition rate for up to five years. A college education is a big investment in your future. We want all University of Oregon students to be able to plan financially for that investment.
While these plans may succeed in providing students and their families financial certainty from a tuition perspective, nearly all universities do not include room, board, and other fees in the fixed tuition rate, which means that students could still experience new unexpected costs each year.
Be a recent Oregon high school graduate or GED® test graduate. Attend an Oregon community college by your required start term, based on your graduation date. Have a 2.0 cumulative high school GPA or higher, or a 145 grade on all GED® tests. Be an Oregon resident for at least 12 months prior to college attendance.

The Higher Education Coordinating Commission maintains the Private Career School Tuition Protection Fund under state law for the purpose of paying claims for tuition reimbursem*nt by students affected when a private career school ceases to provide educational services.
