With the release of The Crown season 5 on the horizon, with its release set for 9 November 2022, the memory of Princess Diana's beauty is set to be at the forefront of royal fans' minds as her iconic looks are recreated on actress Elizabeth Debicki.
While Princess Diana famously dabbled with blue eyeliner on occasion - but stopped as beige and brown is "so much prettier" according to makeup artist Mary Greenwell - the late Princess of Wales' overall make-up look was classic and understated.
The late Princess of Wales reportedly steered clear of anything that was too "flashy", according to Greenwell, such as fake eyelashes or a bold and bright lip.

"She always wanted to look gorgeous of course, but there wasn't a signature makeup look,’ her make-up artist Mary Greenwell told HELLO!
"She never wore anything too flashy and was always very stylish. When I did her makeup, she only wanted touches that brought out and enhanced her beauty.
"You would never do something so bold on someone of her beauty and calibre."
