Bell, 69, of Atlanta, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Monday (April 25, 2016) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln, surrounded by her loved ones. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Quiram-P easley Funeral Home, Atlanta.

Her funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Clarence Mankin will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be at a later date in the Atlanta Cemetery. Linda Jean Bell was born Sept.

16, 1946, in Lincoln, the daughter of Russell F. and Edna E. Winkel Noble. She married Gideon Patrick Bell on Oct. 29, 1983.

He survives. Linda is survived by her husband, Pat; children, Cindy (Mark) Leesman, Atlanta; Chris Jackson, Atlanta; and Christine (Joe) Delahunt, Atlanta; one brother, Ernie Brown, Lincoln; and five grandchildren, Jessica Bihl; Dustin Leesman; and Tyler, Riley and Payton Delahunt. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dianne Provance. Linda had worked in the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service government offices in Lincoln and Bloomington. Following her retirement, Linda volunteered at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lincoln and the American Legion Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to Atlanta Rescue Squad, American Cancer Society or Atlanta Fire Department. Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta. Glenn Cross EMDEN Glenn Eldon Cross, 89, of Emden, died at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday (April 26, 2016) at Christian Village nursing home, Lincoln.

Service: 10:30 a.m. on day at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Emden, with the Rev. John Schurter and Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Burial: Hartsburg Union Cemetery, Hartsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steven Sage. Pat worked at for 31 years and later worked for Country Financial for 14 years. She was a Mary Kay consultant for many years.

Pat enjoyed meeting with and traveling with friends and co-workers. She also enjoyed her neighbors. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. Her son and her grandsons were her pride and joy. Helen Miller LEXINGTON Helen L.

Miller, 78, of Lexington, passed away at 1:47 a.m. ednesday (April 27, 2016) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Burial will be in Pennell Cemetery, Towanda.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. She was born Oct. 5, 1937, in Woodson, a daughter of Slayton Fredrick and Fern Louisa Harney McCurdie.

She married Paul T. Miller on March 28, 1957, at Towanda. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1997. Surviving are her children, Eric (Chona) Miller, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; Lora Harms, Lexington; and Matt (Angie) Miller, Bloomington; three gr andchildren, Nichole Harms, Joshua Harms and Blake Harms; a br other, Michael (Sharon) McCurdie, Towanda; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Brad Harms.

Helen enjoyed taking care of people and spent more than 20 years working in several area nursing homes as well as serving as a volunteer with hospice. She was a huge movie buff and also enjoyed reading, music, playing cards and crocheting. Myers, 87, of Maroa, passed away 8:43 p.m. Saturday (April 23, 2016) at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur. Her service will be at 11 a.m. aturday at Maroa United Methodist Church, Maroa, with the Rev. Nic Showalter officiating.

Burial will follow at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. aturday at the church. Calvert Funeral Home, Maro is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Wanda Myers Scholarship Fund (Maroa-Forsyth School District).

Wanda was born Aug. 21, 1928, in Maroa, the daughter of George and Effie Katt Rodgers. She married Bernard L. Myers on March 20, 1949, in Maroa. Survivors include her husband, Bernard L.

Myers, Forsyth; children, Kathy Sharp, Maroa; Kirk (Julie) Myers, Decatur; Lisa (Jim) Peck, Forsyth; and Kim (Rich) Fox, Bloomington; nine grandchildren, Michael Blanco, Chase Myers, Savannah Myers, Jimmy (Stephanie) Peck, Jordan (Samantha) Peck, Kelly Peck, Caroline Fox, Jack Fox and Griffin Fox; one great-granddaughter, Stevie Peck; and one great-grandchild on the way. Wanda was an 86-year resident of Maroa, a graduate and lifelong supporter of Maroa-Forsyth schools and athletics, worked with her husband at Linville Hardware store, and a member of the same bridge club for 42 years. She was a longstanding member of Maroa United Methodist Church with a strong faith and was a student of Bible Study Fellowship. She was a voracious reader and an avid Cubs fan. She was a great cook, famous for her cinnamon rolls.

Most importantly, though, she was a wonderful and generous lady who lived life for her family and friends. She loved her husband of 67 years, her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally and would do anything for us. We will miss her deeply. Donald Rousey HEYWORTH Donald Lee Rousey, 84, of Heyworth, passed away at 5:15 p.m. April 20, 2016, at his home. Cremation has been accorded. His inurnment will be at a later date in Funks Grove Cemetery, Funks Grove. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home, Bloomington, is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born June 23, 1931, in Bloomington, a son of Vernon G. and Elizabeth Phoman Rousey. He married Nelva L. Anderson on Oct. 24, 1964, in Wapella.

She preceded him in death in 2015. Surviving are a son, Joey Rousey; stepson, Tom Anderson; six grandchildren, Michelle oage, Veronica Smiley, Leisa Anderson, Greg Anderson, Emily Rous ey and Linda Rousey; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Myra Linden, Bessie Swearingen and Carol Sue Spring; and two brothers, Paul and David Rousey. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Lola Smiley; two brothers, Steven and Raymond; and a sister, Audrey Mae. Don served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a private first class.

Kathie was born March 4, 1965, in Elmhurst, a daughter of Keith Price and Judy Carlson. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Dick Katzel. They both survive in Arizona. She married Edward A. Schwarz on Aug.

9, 1986, in Joliet. He survives in Strawn. Also surviving are her children, Michael (Terri) Schwarz, Lexington, S.C.; Nicholas (Catherine Biesbor) Schwarz, Piper City; Brittany (Matt) Kennedy, Fairbury; and Ashley (Josh) Walters, Chatsworth; her mother-in-law, Catherine (late Harry chwarz) Schwarz, Piper City; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Krista, Chelsea Mae, Addison, Scott, Lucas, Abigail, Gabriel, Austin Anthony Annabella and Jamie; her siblings, Dawn (Dave) McVey, Bolingbrook, and Keith Katzel, Hanover Park; and one brother-in- law, Jim Angelos, Gibson City. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Christine Angelos. Kathie worked for Quanex in Chatsworth for a number of years and went on to work for R.R.

Donnelley in Dwight before settling at Selig in Forrest where she worked for the last eight years. She loved her job and everyone there. Kathie and motto on life was to help others in any way that they could. last gift was her donation of her body to help 20 people in need through organ donation. It is through this donation that the family can find comfort in her loss knowing that she will live on through her donation.

Diana was born Aug. 15, 1957, in Joliet, to Delmar and Minna A. Ruch Benckendorb. She married Neil Volpe on July 30, 1977, in Pattonsburg. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Minna Stoens, Toluca; her daughter, Rachel (Jas on) Lawrence, Bloomington; one grandson, Owen Lawrence; and two sisters, Debra (Greg) Potter, Low point, and Brenda Kroschen, Fishers, Ind. Her father and stepfather, Robert Stoens, preceded her in death. Diana was a line packer for Oak State Products for 40 years. She was a selfless and a very giving person. Her last gift was being an organ donor.

Diana and her husband worked with the prison ministry for many years. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Eleanor Walden SAYBROOK Eleanor Walden, 79, of Saybrook, passed away Tuesday (April 26, 2016) at home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Saybrook.

6, 1937, to Frederick and Blanche Sutton Wonderlin. She married Delmer Walden on Oct. 31, 1959, at Ellsworth Methodist Church. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Dorothy (Sam) Morris, Woodbury, and Laura (Norm Hiser) Walden, Lexington; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Kyle) Seidel, Bailee (Clayton) Kolb, Teeghan (Brian) Herian, John Woodworth, Samantha Morris and Devin Morris; great-grandchildren, Silas, Everleigh, Oliver, Charlie, and one due in August; sisters, Leta Snyder, Bloomington; Fleta Meiner, Colfax; and Ida Williams, Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Merwin Wonderlin. Eleanor was a longtime employee of the U.S. Postal Service where she retired as postmaster of the Cooksville office. She was an original member of the 138 Pinochle Club. She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.

Eleanor was never afraid to tackle any task and did so with a smile. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and devoted friend who will be deeply missed. The family would like to express a special thank-you to Carle Hospice staff for all their care and devotion to Eleanor. BLOOMINGTON NORMAL John Bagosy Jr. NORMAL John Norman Bagosy 67, of Normal, passed away at 1:10 p.m.

Sunday (April 24, 2016) at Heritage Health, Normal, after a 40- year battle with cancer. The funeral service for John will be at 10 a.m. riday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Pastor Andy Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Funks Grove Cemetery, McLean. Military rites will be conducted by both active-duty Army and the Bloomington-Nor mal American Legion Honor Guard. John was born March 19, 1949, in Bloomington, to John Norman and June Lawson Bagosy. He married Kathryn Sue Biscart on Aug.

12, 1978, in Las Vegas, Nev. She preceded him in death on Oct. 18, 1984, in Phoenix, Ariz. He later married Tonda Coone in Peoria. She resides in Normal, and he was blessed to have her in his life.

He is also survived by four children, Marcy (Thomas) Cavalier, Enterprise, John Norman (Lori) Bagosy III, Scottsdale, Myles Martinson, Nashville, and Scarcey (Tom) Card, Danville; as well as two grandchildren, Carson and Cameron Cavalier. He is also survived by one sister, Tina Roberts, Minier; a niece, Christen Roberts, Chicago; and a nephew, Jesse Roberts, Watertown, N.Y. After high school, John served six years in the U.S. Army, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam, where he served with the 68th Assault Helicopter Company as a door gunner. He was awarded the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with the Bronze Star, Air Medal and the Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.

He then returned to the states where he was a drill sergeant for two years at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. In 1973, he was honorably discharged having reached the rank of staff sergeant. He was a true patriot and loved his country dearly. After the military, he started his real estate career with Century 21 Baumgart and Sopper, where he was awarded the Top Associate of the Year Award in 1978. He enjoyed a career in real estate for 25 years.

John attended Eastview Christian Church in Normal and was a past member of the American Pilots Association, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, a member of both the local Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He was also a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Bloomington-Normal Association of Realtors. John enjoyed participating in the Patriot Guard Riders and truly loved telling stories about his life, riding his Harley and traveling.
