Spring is right around the corner, meaning you’re probably due for a little wardrobe reset. We spent hours combing through all the spring collections and trends — here’s a breakdown of the top color trends for spring, and how you can incorporate them into your wardrobe.

Pastels

Like always, pastels are the ultimate go-to for spring, bringing a classic, light, and fresh charm to your wardrobe. This season, you’ll be seeing a lot of lilac, light yellow, and sky blue. Lilac and sky blue, often paired with neutral looks, offer a subtle pop of color. Light yellow took over the runways in monochromatic fits — often in the form of effortlessly fluid silhouettes.

White

Still on a lighter note, full white looks took over so many runways and spring collections, like Khaite. White truly is the ultimate trend-resistant color. This season, we’re seeing a lot of monochromatic white looks that layer sheer and lace fabrics.

Feeling Blue

In contrast to the light pastels, dark and rich blue hues like royal blue and navy blue are so in for Spring. While light colors for Spring are the tradition, we saw many designers go the opposite route with these deep blues. Oxtail

Red will never be out of style, and right now, the red hue you should be wearing is Oxtail. Think maroon and burgundy, but elevated. The Row and Khaite really dominated the reds this season.

I mean we really can’t get enough of brown. It seems to be the color that is transcending all seasons and it is the perfect transition color into Spring.

All Shades of Grey

Grey is a great color to wear in the spring time, and a great substitute for black. The trick to styling this color is to play around with the silhouettes.

Metallics

Take the spotlight in bronze, gold, and silver tones. Metallics were hot during the holidays, and are staying in for the spring. If you didn’t bring them into your wardrobe this winter, now is the perfect time.
