The Defender Bonus refers to free PokéCoins that are earned by leaving your Pokémon at a Gym to defend against challengers from other Teams. The longer your Pokémon is defending the Gym, the more PokéCoins you can earn. Feed your Pokémon treats to restore their CP and extend how long they're defending the Gym.
