ByCerys ParkerPublished on
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of being in the kitchen with my mum, aunts and grandparents. Learning to cook and bake with them from a young child to teenager, and even now I love joining my mum, in the kitchen helping to prepare family meals that we then sit down together to enjoy. Those recipes that I learnt at their apron stringsand the cookbooks that I had – and still have are my go-to recipes to share with my kids and teach them to cook in the home for family meals and treats.
With thenew year and one of the family goals we have set this year being more meals together to encourage us to talk and spend time daily this is a great way to start, I’m also hoping that it will encourage both J and T to try new foods and experience new tastes as we work through the recipes I will be sharing. To extend the time spent together, weare preparing and cooking the meal as a family.
