Vegetables With High Amounts of Nitrate
Vegetables with high amounts of nitrate, like carrots, turnips, celery, or spinach, can turn toxic when reheated. Such reheated vegetables have carcinogenic properties.
Rice
you can get food poisoning from eating reheated rice. It’s not the reheating that causes the problem, but how you store it before reheating.
Potatoes
Potatoes are easy to store, reheat and consume. However, if you reheat them again, they might produce Clostridium Botulinum (bacteria causing botulism).
Mushrooms
Eating reheated mushrooms can cause havoc with your digestive system, as reheating breaks the present protein, generating toxins containing oxidised nitrogen and free radicals.
Cold Pressed Oil
Omega-3 present in cold-pressed oil is sensitive to temperature. It breaks and becomes rancid above 40 degrees Celsius.
Eggs
Eggs contain a lot of protein. When reheated, they might be exposed to high temperatures which may destabilise its protein and make it toxic.
Chicken
Just like eggs and mushroom, reheating can have a negative impact on the protein present in the chicken.
