The vlogger's cupcakes weren't up to scratch but her fanbase is still proud
Zoella appeared on Great Comic Relief Bake Off but her cupcakes weren't enough to stop Gok Wan standing tall.
The fashion expert triumphed over the vlogger - along with Jonathan Ross and Abbey Clancy - but it hasn't hurt the enthusiasm of her fans around the world as they heaped praise on the rising star.
Internet sensation Zoella - whose real name is Zoe Sugg - thanked her fans in a heartfelt tweet.
She wrote: "Thank you for all your amazingly lovely and supportive tweets tonight! Hope I did the interwebz proud #TeamInternet #GBBOComicRelief (sic)"
A follower wrote: "It made me so happy to see zoella on the great british bake off (sic)"
Although her cakes weren't enough to impress Paul Hollwood and Mary Berry, Twitter seemed to like them!
One user said: "@ZozeeBo omg zoe your cakes looked amazing (sic)"
Other fans were a bit disappointed at how little she was shown on screen.
"Is it just me or is Zoe not getting enough airtime," a frustrated user tweeted.
See the best of Twitter's reaction to Zoella below, and be sure to check out the details of her plush £1 million mansion that she will share with her boyfriend and fellow internet star Alfie Deyes.
The 24-year-old is reported to have bought the five-bed mansion in Brighton– and christened it the ‘Zalfie pad’.
