Who We Are
The Claimant Advocacy Program (CAP) is a free legal counseling service available to individuals who file unemployment compensation appeals in the District of Columbia. CAP attorneys meet with workers denied unemployment compensation in D.C. or whose benefit awards have been appealed by the employer. If the case is accepted, the CAP attorney appears at the hearing as the worker's legal representative. Representation is made on a case-by-case basis based on the facts of each appeals claim. However, all claimants can receive free legal counseling.El programa de asesoramiento y abogacía por los derechos del trabajador?
