Strawberry is very beneficial for health, being rich in nutrients, such as vitamins A, B and C. It contains high quantities of manganese, potassium, iron and fiber. It is high in phenols (mainly anthocyanins that provide the red colour) and contains antioxidants, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and heart boosting elements, as well as lutein and zeaxanthin, which are beneficial for the eye-sight.

Methods of Use

As sweeteners in hot and cold drinks, in co*cktails, as a drink diluted in water
or milk, in cakes, tahini, pies, crepes, waffles, cookies, biscuits, bread, buns,
mizithra, as a bread spread, in pilaf, yoghourt, ice-cream, feta cheese,
cereals, etc.
