What is the least busy day at Six Flags Magic Mountain? ›

Dubbed the "Thrill Capital of the World", SFMM is busiest during the summer months of June and July, with lighter crowds in January and February.

Visit when attendance is lightest—you'll spend less time waiting to get on your favorite rides. Best bets are weekdays during the summer.

Go on a weekday if you can, weekends are terribly crowded. If u can get in as soon as it opens go right to X2 and Tatsu (the longest rollercoaster lines) or head to the back of the park first. Of course a season pass is a great value but the food quality needs a lot of work.

Generally weekdays will be less crowded than weekends, even during the summer. But summer is peak season for these parks so expect there to be some crowds. Go early, especially at Disney, as you can get on several of the popular rides with short lines if you do it before the crowds start to build later in the day.

Holiday in the Park – Be prepared for big holiday season crowds and long lines on the week of Christmas through December 30. Christmas Eve is usually manageable. Six Flags Magic Mountain is closed on Christmas Day. New Year's Eve – The holiday crowds are gone by December 31.
