Hi Leeanna,
The past participle of some verbs is formed by adding 'd' or 'ed' to the base of the word, in this case, the word is 'decorate' . So then you have the word decorated. The 'e' is already there so you just add 'd'. Some words where you have to add 'ed' are learn + ed = learned, cover+ed = covered, etc etc.
