If anyone else knows of DP otherwise, please chime in.
It worked when I used Vanilla & Jokers prepaid MC recently.

DP: 6th@5th, New Westminster, limited my purchase to 2x. They have more on the rack, behind the counter.
Got 50pts for buying $50 GC. I will try to use it to buy my next vanilla. Stay tuned.
Edit: Canada@Edmonds, Burnaby, out of stock, nothing on her back neither.

so you got 50 pts for buying $50 chevron gc, and used the gc to buy vanilla?

Hoping for some insight from any veterans on my DP
I tried to use 3x vanilla at shoppers SCO to buy a happy card. First two are full barcode, no issue. Lastly used a split barcode, it was only partial remainder (not even full $75). Declined. Tried twice and gave up.
Checked balance, did not show any record of decline online. Card was activated at least 10 hours prior.
Then used the same card at a different store an hour later approved, no issue. So it isn’t bricked thankfully.
Wondering what triggered the decline here. For the record I did this exact same purchase one day prior with 3 full barcode cards and went thru fine.

DP seems to point to a yes, but McBride@8th, New Westminster refused to take the $50 GC.

You should use split barcode card first, then use no restriction full barcode cards.

So much for "hassle free"
That's why I'm not bothering with that route. Good for you if you want to risk it and go for the bonus but, I want to go with sure things.

Hmm ok. I didn’t think the full code counted into the limit. Also, split card wasn’t actually bricked, just declines.
Earlier advice was to use split code last:

TO THAT POINT,
They used 3 split cards with multiple full cards with no issue.I have also done this with success. Keep the split barcodes for last or don't pass 3. If you do, you start bricking cards.

You didn't go past 3 cards, the order in which you did it has absolutely nothing to do with what happened.
What exactly happened, no idea.
Let's say you plan to use 5 cards. The order in which you use them is up to you, as long as you are done 3 split barcodes at the end.
My thinking is, why would I use the split barcodes at the beginning, which are known to cause issues. I use my full barcodes FIRST to get them out of way and finish with half barcodes.
Edit: Was the third card a variable card by chance? I'm having issues there ...
10 hours after purchase ... Shouldn't be an issue but I've never turned around and used them that quickly so not the expert on that ...

It was a fixed $75 card (all 3 were $75 cards with full balance). All purchased from OP promo, but the third one was the only split barcode.
I have to think, the split codes must also have some other limiting feature(s?) built in to their "anti-fraud protection". It is a active working card, but just got declined after using 2 full code vanillas immediately prior, then worked fine again later in the day at different store.
It didn't follow the same 3-max bricking pattern as others experienced; wish I could know what the limitation was here.

I think in this instance (and this is complete speculation) If I had used the split code first, it would have gone through, then I could have used the other two full codes without issues. Of course if is was very high traffic store, then using a single split code first would risk bricking subsequent cards (as you point out), but that wasn't really the case here, and using just a single split code is probably lower risk anyway.

DP on claiming Walmart barcode: some email did not go through automatically. Claimed 4 cards, only two emails arrived immediately. The other two came ten minutes later, but got filed into spam. So same content, your email service could treat some as spam. Count your emails immediately and check your spam folder.
Possible cause, bad Internet connection during photos/claim.
DP2: The $50 Chevron GC was accepted when I purchased the 4 cards above this morning. 1st@Rupert, Vancouver.

I've been taking screenshots when I submit the form as well just to be safe. I noticed a delay in a previous promo and figure its a good idea to have a backup.

Did you only do $50 as a "test"?

Yes, and okay to get stuck with that money. Since I can get 1x Aeroplan anyway.
Brunette@Allard out of stock, bought $100 GC instead and yes, got 100 Chevron points.

I may try the same and test my luck with it. I guess worst case you get 50 points plus a gas card you can use to fill up.
IMO you do need to clear 300 journie points to make it worthwhile though, since it wont convert to AP till it reaches 300

True too. But this promotion still has a month to go, I am confidence about running into nice cashier again and also accumulate the 300 pts.
DP3: Can tap at least $300 at Chevron with Paypower+Google Pay, for those cycling the money.

No, it wasn't that. The order in which you do the cards won't matter at low volumes.
1 Full
1 Full
1 Half
Or
1 Half
1 Full
1 Full
Doesn't matter.
Even if it was FULL, FULL, FULL, FULL and then a split (ideal) is the same as
SPLIT, FULL, FULL, FULL, FULL
Again, the key here is not hitting 3 splits. Once you do, your path changes a bit.
That didn't happen to you.
I thought you were "blocked" by another person in a high traffic store but then the card would have locked forever and you said you were able to use it somewhere else, so that doesn't seem right either.

Great deal. Extra Walmart credits! Can anybody tell me how (if possible) I can pay a bill which is over $75 with 2 $75 Vanilla VISAs using paysimply (website version)?

You need to convert to a Prepaid Mastercard. This isn’t always easy to do because it will incur another activation charge to get one, and YMMV paying for GC with pp Visa.
However, For example, right now there is a promotion for Happy Cards at shoppers drug mart. If you buy the one that you can use at staples and load it to $206.95, it is possible to order a prepaid Mastercard on staples website. You would earn an additional 20k PCO points in the process, but it’s a lot of steps and requires 3x $75 vanillas to pay it. I have done this a couple times myself for the purpose of using it to pay tax on paysimply.
You could also wait for another promotion on VMC- sometimes at Walmart or metro they have promos that are easier. But currently not any right now
