Two local news anchors from Colorado have gone viral after a testy exchange which has promoted viewers on social media to question if the two reporters hate each other.
Kathy Sabine and Kyle Clark, of 9News in Colorado, went viral after a compilation clip of their on-air exchanges went viral yesterday.
In the clip, Clark is seen complaining about the smell of Sabine's hair spray. She asks him if he has product in his hair to which he responds "don't ever touch me again".
Commenters are speculating as to whether the anchors hate each other or whether there is some sexual tension between the pair.
One wrote "If romantic comedies have taught me anything, these two will finally get together sometime in the third act", while a number of others penned steamy fan fiction about the duo in the comments, reminiscent of Fifty Shades of Grey.
The video was uploaded to the 'Amazing Life 247' YouTube channel and quickly went viral, making the front page of Reddit with over 4,000 upvotes and racking up over 600,000 hits.
Clark previously went viral for an on-air rant against snow-covered patio photos which was viewed over 600,000 times on YouTube.
"Why is it that everytime it snows, we point our cameras to our back porch?"
"Yes, everyone is impressed you have a four-piece patio set you got in Costco".
Kathy Sabine has worked at 9News for over twenty years.
