You can use Calendar to keep track of tasks.

You can also edit, delete, andcomplete tasks from your calendar. Learn how to manage tasks in Google Calendar.

  1. Go to Google Calendar.
  2. Choose an option:
    • In your calendar, click an empty slot on your calendar.
    • In the top left, click Create.
  3. Click Task.
  4. Enter your task details.
  5. Click Save.

Tips:

  • Any tasks with dates you create in the Tasks app appear on Google Calendar.
  • A list of all uncompleted tasks from the last 365 days is available in your current day on Google Calendar.

You can get an email each morning with your daily agenda.

  2. On the left under Settings for my calendars, click your name and go to Other notifications.

  1. Open Gmail.
  2. In the search box at the top, click Show search options Get Calendar productivity tips - Google Workspace Learning Center (15).
  3. In the To field, enter your email address.
  4. Next to Has the words, enter invite.ics OR invite.vcs.
  5. Check the Has attachment box.
  6. Click Create filter.
  7. Check the Apply the label box and choose a label to automatically sort incoming event response messages.
  8. If you want response messages to be automatically moved out of your inbox, but want to be able to access them later, check the Skip the Inbox Archive itbox.
  9. Click Create filter.

If you’d prefer not to be invited to events outside of your working hours, you can adjust your Google Calendar settings so organizers know to reschedule an event to a better time.

  1. On your computer, openGoogle Calendar.

  3. On the left, under "General," click Working hours.
    • Tip: If your admin has turned on working location, click Working hours & location.Learn more about your administrator.
  4. In the "Working hours" section, click Enable working hours.
  5. Select the days you work Get Calendar productivity tips - Google Workspace Learning Center (22)the times you work.
  6. You can split the hours you work based on when you're available.
    • To add more than one time period to your workday, next to a day of the week, click Add Get Calendar productivity tips - Google Workspace Learning Center (23).
    • To remove a time period, click Remove Get Calendar productivity tips - Google Workspace Learning Center (24).

Tip: When you add work hours, the start time must be before the end time.

Calendar may suggest working hours based on your time zone, the work patterns in your country, and your schedule. You can accept, decline, or edit these suggestions. Learn more about Calendar in different time zones.

You can set up a single appointment with bookable slots in your calendar. For example, you might want allow people to book a time to review a proposal.

  1. Using your work or school account on a computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. Make sure that you're in Week view or any Day view.
  3. Click anywhere in the calendar. In the event box that pops up, click Appointment slots.
  4. Enter the details, including a title, and pick the calendar where you want the event to show up.
  5. To add more information, like a location or description,click More options.

Tip:If you want to make the appointment block repeat, do so before you invite others to reserve a slot. When you make an existing appointment block with reserved slots repeat, the reserved slots get duplicated as new slots and double booking can occur.Learn how to make events repeat.
