Trivia[]
- This is the sibling train to the Class 321.
- These trains are rarely seen on the Waterline South and Suburban services since Morganstown Docks and Whitney Green cannot accommodate all four coaches.
- Additionally, these trains can't be used at all on the Morganstown Shuttle.
- This train, the Class 143 and the Class 508 are the only trains in the game to have 3 cab windows.
- This is one of the three trains to feature a dedicated emergency exit, the other two being the Class 508 and Class 717.
- This train has white text on the Passenger Information Screens, however in real life, the text is orange.
- Users criticize this train a lot because of the unrealistic motor sounds, which are the same sounds used on the Class 321. It is also inaccurate that it shares sounds with the Class 321 as the Class 321 uses Brush TM2141C motors while the 319 has thyristor control with GEC G315BZ motor which means that they have 2 different motor sounds in real life and this isn't replicated in game.
- Users have also criticized this train and the Class 508 for being blocky, and having visibly pixelated textures/features.
- This train and the Class 321 were meant to be upgraded in Version 1.4, but according to Innovations Director BanTech, they couldn't fit, so they were added later in Version 1.4.1.
- In real life, some of these units have been modified to Class 769s.
- Since this train got upgraded to Next Generation in Version 1.4.1, the doors of this train happen to glitch through the walls when opening. This is yet to be fixed as of Version 1.10.13.
- This train is known for its non-glass doors in between carriages.
- As of 1.10.13, this is one of the last 3 NGv1 trains in the game, along with the Class 321 and Class 508.
- A NGv3 version of this train was revealed in the sneak peek shown on 4 February 2024.
