Ingredients
- 1 cup Split Chickpea – Chana Dal
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 7-8 grains Black Peppercorn
- 2 sticks Cinnamon Stick
- 2 tsp Coriander Seed
- 3 pcs Red Chili Pepper
- ½ tsp Red Chili Flake
- 500 grams (1.1 lb) Chicken Boneless
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tsp Fresh Ginger Root Finely chopped
- 2 pcs Green Chili
- 2 tsp Garlic Finely Chopped
- ½ cup Fresh Coriander Leaf Chopped
- ½ cup Fresh Mint Leaf Chopped
- 2 pcs Egg
Instructions
Soak split chickpeas (dal chana) for 30 minutes.
Add oil and spices (cumin seeds, cloves, black peppercorns, cinnamon, coriander seeds, red chili, and chili flakes) to a pressure cooker and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Put soaked lentils (dal chana) and mix it.
Now, add boneless chicken, salt, and water. Bring to boil then lower the heat and let it simmer. Cook until all the water evaporates.
Cool it for a short time and grind ingredients to make a paste.
Add ginger, green chili, garlic, coriander leaves, and mint leaves to the paste. Mix it well.
Beat the eggs.
Make kabab (cutlets) of any shape.
Dip cutlets (kabab) in eggs and fry until it becomes golden brown.
Ready to serve.
